I am a Krishna devotee. I am currently studying in a university.  I like to complain and whine about things. This blog is for me to communicate to you, dear reader, the major life-or-death (read: trivial) situations that I face every so often. I like words and I like books. I read quite a bit and write poetry too. I spend a good deal of time doing things that are not productive. This blog may turn out to be one of those things.

And I blog up the drainpipe.

  5. Dear sister,

You’ve a really good blog. Your devotion is inspiring!

Sometime ago, you had asked me to share an incident about Krishna in “In Love With Krishna’s blog.” Only today, by His Grace, I was able to do so. Kindly, visit her blog to find my reply. I’m really thankful that u asked me to do so…because this is the first time am sharing that incident to the world.

Also, I’ve a small suggestion/request. I hope u don’t mind me saying it. In your ‘about me’ section, shouldn’t Krishna be your first identity? I’d be happy to see, ‘I’m a devotee of Krishna’ in the first line. And then the rest. I think even Krishna too would be glad to see it. 🙂

Am suggesting this because everything I read in this blog was about Krishna. And, that will tell the world your priority, too. If I’m wrong pls do excuse me, dear sister.

    Shree Rama Jayam!

      Hare Krishna 🙂

Thanks a lot for your comment.

And I have taken your suggestion into consideration. I believe that Krishna wants me to do that as well, and He’s telling me about it through you 🙂 I have also read the experience that you shared on In Love With Krishna’s blog, and I have replied to it as well. I would like to repost it in my next blog entry about miracles. Basically, I try to collect stories of devotees’ personal experiences where Krishna has touched their lives, or He has performed some miracles in their lives, etc. I will be posting your name as well as your blog URL along with your experience. Do let me know if that’s okay with you! 🙂

  6. Glad to know u were delighted reading the post. But how come I didn’t receive ur comments in ma blog. Was’t published when u posted it?

Anyway, thanks a lot for the read 🙂 May Shree Krishna guide you, always!

    Shri Rama Jayam!

    Hello,

Its great to come across this blog..I love the way people get related to Krishna..my dad is one big time lover of Krishna..he does Sewa every morning for approx 1-2 hours..same Sewa my great grand mom did for more than 40 years..I would really love to follow his path..as I want to be close to God as well..I trust him..whenever i am in any trouble or tension..he always guides me..whenever i do bhajan or chant his name from whole heart..i get that bliss feeling that i cannot explain in words..its that internal emotional pleasure i feel..which makes me feel safe and give me feelings that everything is gonna be alright..Its very fascinating to know that a person studying at uni..a young person takes so much interest in God..its very difficult to find a person alike..I am studying in Dubai too..please stay in touch..and if there is any gathering in Dubai for satsang or bhajans..or any bhagwat program..please let me know..i would be eternally thankful.

    Hare Krishna.
    God bless us all.

      Hi,

Thanks for the comment! It was nice to read about your devotion as well as your family’s 🙂 There are lots of meetups in Dubai for Krishna devotees. One happens every Friday morning (at around 10 am I believe) at Sindhi Ceremonial Hall in Bur Dubai, and throughout the rest of the week, there are Bhagavad Gita classes and other devotional classes in different locations around Dubai.
